Requiring access to the Mediterranean Sea to go on a crusade, the King Saint Louis created the port of Aigues-Mortes, a city acquired in the royal domain. He built the ramparts and the towers where the Templars were held prisoner years later.

The palace of Tau in Reims owes its name to its plan in form T. The Kings of France came to be crowned in Reims by the bishop since Pepin the Short.
The monument was modified under Louis XIV and also heavily damaged during the First World War. The current visit of the palace will take you through the various rooms of this sumptuous monument.

Come visit the home of Voltaire. The philosopher bought it while living near Switzerland to contribute to the Encyclopedia. Voltaire completely rebuilt the castle and this one can be today visiting as its park and the rest of the domain of Ferney.
