Château de Candé

The mayor of Tours built this castle in the Louis XII style on the eve of the Renaissance. Several lords of Candé will succeed and enrich the ornaments and the interior of the castle. The field of Candé shines especially thanks to its park which extends on more than 230 hectares and which makes pleasant natural exits. It is also for its many assets that the fallen King Edward VII of England will choose this area to marry the American Wallis Warfield.
